This year marks the 5th anniversary of the establishment of African Studies Center - TUFS (ASC-TUFS). For the commemoration, an international symposium will be organized on November 3 and 6, 2021.
Together with invited researchers from both Japanese and foreign research institutions, discussion will be held under five themes: international politics, migration and refugees, economy and development, ecology, and religion. Besides, we will have a session for graduate students and young scholars mainly for networking with other scholars.
The symposium will be held both onsite, at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, and online. Please note that we may hold only online or restrict the number of participants as per the infection status. The symposium is open to public, and admission is free. Pre-registration is required for both onsite and online participation from here.
