How to apply

Definition of the following terms
Applicant Person applying to study at TUFS
High School Representative Person at the Applicant’s high school who will submit the Applicant’s Letter of Recommendation
Step How to Person responsible
1 The Applicant must arrange to have the Letter of Recommendation submitted by the high school. Applicant
2 The Applicant must complete the “Letter of Recommendation Request Form” below to have the necessary information sent to the High School Representative (*).
3 The Applicant must prepare all of the required application documents.
4 The Applicant should pay the Application Fee using the Flywire application.
5 The High School Representative should download the “TUFS Cover Letter” below and prepare the Letter of Recommendation referencing the “A quick guide to writing a Letter of Recommendation” below. High School Representative
6 The High School Representative should upload the Letter of Recommendation and TUFS Cover Letter using the “Letter of Recommendation Submission Form (*)” by September 5, 2025, 11:59 PM (Japan Standard Time).
7 The Applicant must upload the application materials using the "Online Application Form" during the Application Period (Japan Standard Time). Applicant

(*) After the Applicant sends a request using the “Letter of Recommendation Request Form”, The High School Representative will receive an email with the URL required to access the “Letter of Recommendation Submission Form”.
